Hens Sharing Nest
Mind you, there are three nests adjacent to one another, so there is no need to smoosh into one. The fourth girl was out and about, likely lording it over the plethora of other chicks and pullets here at the farmette. You see, I decided to go into business as a chick broker. The first batch moved quickly, so I purchased 28 more, and one month later, another 28. Then I had a sales lull. For two weeks or so, I had 41 chickens of various ages consuming my garden and pooping on just about any horizontal surface.
